whoever said Regina is boring and flat? there are hills (albeit man made) and trees everywhere. almost every street is canopied by a beautiful variety of trees. Their lake is huge, and abates my fear of not being close to water - It's a substantial body of water. and because it is all created as an oasis in the flatlands, it's clean, trim, taken care of. they have the biggest urban park in Canada, and it stretches through the entire city, running right through campus. The only thing I miss from Ontario at this point is the wildness of the wilderness rather than the pristine cemented walks and still waters. the campus does not have a forest like Lakehead, so there are no private copses, only perfect trees spread at even lengths, across wide spanning areas of grass.
